St. Pat tag - Twelve tages of 2012 #2

http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/03/12-tags-of-2012-march.html

I loved Tim's butterfly tag for March, but it's still snowing and I wasn't in the mood for butterflies, and materials from my stash led me in a different direction this month.

I started by inking the tag with Peeled Paint, Mustard Seed, and Antique Linen Distress Inks. I've always loved his Sizzix dies, and frequently use the Regal Crest die, so I cut the crest from Kraft Resist and embossed with the Woodgrain folder, the ferns from vellum, and the banner from vintage paper.  The antlers (an Inkadoo stamp) were stamped onto Grungeboard and embossed with Antique Linen Distress Powder.  The letters are Seasonal Salvage Stickers, woodgrain paper tape from Hambly Studios, and green staples from Making Memories.  I finished the tag with gold foil embellishments, green bling, and jute from my junk box.

  1. I love that you made a St. Paddy's tag for March. I love all the details you put into this! Love how you staged the tag for the photo too!
